RABENOLD RACING PREPARES FOR 2008 SEASON OPENER
AT DAYTONA INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY

Kory Rabenold and his racing crew have been spending the last month preparing a brand new car for the ARCA season opener that will be held at Daytona International Speedway on February 9th. This will be Kory's second trip to the famous speedway as he attended a test session back in December. This will be his rookie appearance in attempting to make a qualifying run to get into this race. Much has been happening in the Rabenold Racing stable to prepare for this trip to Florida. "I feel this race is going to be a totally different experience compared to the test session in December. I will be running a car that has more horsepower, plus I was able to get plenty of track time when I was there in December. I'm really excited to have the opportunity to make this trip to Daytona because I feel good about my racecar and my race team."

A new super speedway car was purchased from Bobby Gerhart Racing and the team has been working to get the car ready for the Florida journey. A new engine was fine-tuned by Scott Ritter of RPM Racing Engines out of Lehighton, PA and has been put in the car. Buzzy's Autobody did a brand new paint scheme for the Daytona car. The driver of the #63 Chevrolet has been busy himself. "I have been preparing myself by playing my sim racing game and practicing the qualifying line."

Again for the 2008 racing season, Rabenold Racing has obtained sponsorship and much needed help from Rich Mummey of Interstate Batteries of Allentown. The team has also been busy obtaining sponsors for the 2008 season. Rabenold Racing is proud to announce the sponsorship they have acquired thus far for the 2008 season. Thanks to Buzzy’s Autobody, Interstate Batteries of Allentown, RPM Racing Engines, Sign Design Associates Inc., Computer Pals, Fitness Club of Walnutport, Torco Supply, Walnutport NAPA, and Pop's Beverage.

Kory has also hooked up with The RAACE Foundation which stands for Race Against Abuse of Children Everywhere. The RAACE Foundation is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to fighting the epidemic of child sexual abuse by raising public awareness and hopes to lessen the social stigma associated with addressing this troubling and destructive social issue. "I'm really happy to be part of this organization and I am excited to have the opportunity to assist in raising public awareness of the growing epidemic of sexually abused children. Through my participation in the ARCA series, I feel I have the ability to bring awareness of this organization to a vast group of people and hopefully will help in getting this charity the donations it needs."

The team will depart for the Daytona Speedway on Sunday, February 3rd. Qualifying for this event will take place on Friday, February 8th at noon. The ARCA 200 can be seen live on the Speed Channel beginning at 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 9th.
