Kory Rabenold is set to take the track in Springfield, Illinois for the Allen Crowe 100 in the ARCA RE/MAX Series this weekend. This race will take the young driver one step closer to making his dream, racing in the premiere series in NASCAR, a reality.
Quick Notes from Pocono by Jared Welter
Kory was able to record another season best this past weekend at Pocono. He brought the Andy Belmont Racing, Lend America, Liquid Lightning Energy Drink, #14, Ford Fusion home to a 16th place finish. Qualifying was rained out on Friday, so Kory lined up in the 12th starting spot. Owner points set the starting grid. Kory brought the car down pit road at about lap 15 for fuel and right side tires and then went back...he had a solid run and the car worked pretty decent.
His next event will be in a couple of weeks; he will try his hand at the mile dirt track in Springfield, Illinois. The race will be held on August 23. The next 5 weeks will be busy ones for Kory with a great deal of traveling. Check the ARCA schedule to find out where he will be heading.

ECONOMY SLIDE TAKES TOLL ON KRR ARCA TEAM As we all know the economy has taken a downturn, which we all have felt in one way or another. Unfortunately, that downturn has put a damper on Kory Rabenold and the KRR Racing Team running the entire 2009 ARCA RE/MAX Series schedule. Currently, KRR is lacking the sponsorship that they need to participate in the 2009 ARCA series. The team did not give up hope that some type of sponsorship would come along to allow Kory Rabenold Racing (KRR) to compete in the Pocono ARCA 200 in June and the Pennsylvania 200 in August. However, even to be able to participate in those two shows on the ARCA schedule, the outlook is looking bleak. Rabenold Racing is scrambling to obtain sponsorship; so that Kory can continue show what he is capable behind the wheel of a stock car.
Francine Schill (G&G Marketing) and KRR are continuously working to obtain sponsorship for Kory. We will keep posting any updates (hopefully good news) on the Rabenold Racing website.
As of right now, fans can see Kory compete on a weekly basis at Mahoning Valley Speedway in the modified class. For additional information on Kory's modified racing, check out Rabenold Racing Modified Racing
