Despite Problems, Rabenold Has Solid Run at Salem
Slatington, Pennsylvania (September 19, 2011) -- In his third start of the season in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards, Slatington’s Kory Rabenold qualified 19th for the Kentuckiana Ford Dealers ARCA Fall Classic by Federated Car Care at Salem Speedway in Salem, Indiana. However, a radiator change forced him to the last starting spot. Despite having a great piece underneath him, Rabenold suffered problems and still salvaged a 16th place finish.
From the last starting spot, Rabenold began to advance in a hurry at the start of the event. He told his team over the radio that their car was “wicked fast” and that he felt that a great finish was in their future. However, things changed in a hurry when one of the sway bar arms broke on his mount.

Rabenold Ready to Tackle Salem Speedway
Slatington, Pennsylvania (September 13, 2011) -- Set to make his third start of the season in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards, Slatington’s Kory Rabenold and his family funded Kory Rabenold Racing (KRR) team are excited about the upcoming Kentuckiana Ford Dealers ARCA Fall Classic by Federated Car Care at Salem Speedway in Salem, Indiana on Saturday, September 17.
Rabenold has competed at Salem in the past and scored a 15th place finish at the facility in 2008. With high hopes coming into the challenge, he is determined to better his best performance on the asphalt oval, which is just over a half mile in length.
“This is a race that was circled on our calendar at the start of the year. With the way the budget was, we didn’t know if we would be able to get there, but it looks like we have that chance. I love racing under the lights, it brings me back to when I use to race Asphalt Modifieds locally,” said Rabenold.

Rabenold Pushes a Tight Racecar to a 15th Place Pocono Finish
LONG POND, Pennsylvania (August 7, 2011) -- Kory Rabenold of Slatington, PA wheeled his family owned #03 Buzzy’s Auto Body Chevrolet to a 15th place effort Sunday in the Pennsylvania 125 at Pocono International Raceway. This marks the second start of the season for Rabenold in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards and he was definitely pleased with his team’s performance.
Rabenold started off his weekend by running the 22nd quickest lap in Menards Pole Qualifying, which assured him a starting spot in the show. It was a good start for the low buck team, as 45 drivers were registered to qualify. The race was scheduled for Saturday but Mother Nature stole the show. Rabenold strapped into his car for the start of the 125-mile event on Sunday and things got hairy from the start.
